EAWA Minutes March 14, 2019

The March 14th meeting of the EAWA was called to order at 7:05 PM by President Chris Stanley N1CJS .  Evie KA1BRA made a motion to accept the February Minutes as e-mailed. Chris AB1PZ seconded the motion. The motion passed. Rob W8HAP made a motion to accept the Treasurer's Report

as reported by Chris N1CJS ( Petty Cash $350.83, Checking Account $994.82, VE Account $18.82) that was seconded by Bob AB1EP.  The motion carried. Please note that the State Incorporation fee of $35 and the $15 fee to change the name of the registered agent has not been deducted. Also the EAWA liability and equipment insurance of $232 had not been deducted.

147.03 Repeater – The repeater is still a work in progress.

Field Day Committee Report- Chris N1CJS reported that the Field Day Committee is asking for suggestions for a Field Day site. Please give your suggestions to Chris ASAP so the committee can consider sites.

The VE Test set for March 9 in Ellsworth at Meadow View was  canceled.

New Business

Refreshments for the April 11 EAWA Meeting-Matt Horton W1MRH volunteered to bring refreshments to our April meeting. Thank you, Matt!

Chuck AC1BS finished level 2 of CW Academy organized by CWOps. He's signed up for next winter's level 3 – Way to go , Chuck!! Congratulations!!
